The dream behind Tomorrow’s Youth

Tomorrow’s Youth came to life with the purpose of helping children from different ethnic backgrounds plant the seed of success and realise their potential. By doing this, they will grow to develop a sense of belonging to Hong Kong society with love and harmony. They will also be able to witness firsthand how there are no boundaries as to what they can achieve in life.

Obstacles such as written Chinese and university degrees are hurdles that all these children have to overcome in their lives, but with hope, belief and a spirited attitude, their journey to success will be an eye-opening and enjoyable one.

Mission:
Our main goal is to educate and empower youths in Hong Kong who may lack the rights and advantages of other members of Hong Kong society by providing sports activities, leadership training and development opportunities. Through these lifelong learning opportunities, we aim to encourage them to gain self esteem and greater confidence, and realize their optimum potential in order to become respected citizen, future leaders in the Hong Kong community.

Objectives:
Our principle objective is to raise the awareness of less-privileged youths in Hong Kong that they can create a healthier lifestyle and environment for themselves in order to secure lifelong self-fulfillment and self-respect. We will facilitate the achievement of this main objective by organizing professional sports coaching, leadership workshops, talent development and their respective venues free of charge. We will also subsidize traveling and refreshment costs incurred.

Target Participants:
We will invite HK youths mainly Ethnic Minorities between the age of 14 – 35 years old for the project.

Youth Expectation
We will empower youths in 3 key areas for the Basic level 1 program, namely :-

  1. Physical well-being and Sports Coaching.
  2. Brainpower, Leadership and Communication skills, particularly in grooming good manners
  3. To provide a roadmap for them in Education and Career Development as desire by the participated Youths.

Participated youths are required to attend the coaching sessions. They’re also required to attend a 2 hours workshop once a month.

Benchmarking of their progress in the 3 key areas will be made in not less than every 3 months.

All we are asking the participated youths to be Focus, Taking Action and Put in Efforts to the program. At the end of 12 months, we will promote the successful youths to Basic level 2.

Sponsor items will be returned if he cannot complete 12 months’ program. The Organisers are not liable whatsoever for any injury caused in the program.
